The start dates for our two degree programs are January and June of each year.

Applications for the start of studies in January
we accept until November 15 of the previous year.

Applications for the start of studies in June
are accepted until April 15 of the same year.

In exceptional cases, later registrations can be considered if available.

Registration study program Shipping, Trade and Transport

The team of lecturers for the course is made up of experts from the transport industry as well as lecturers from vocational colleges and universities. The seminar language is English.

Required language skills (alternative)
  • IELTS 5.5 with a minimum score of 5.0 in each test section
  • TOEFL iBT 79+ with a minimum score of 16 on each section of the test.
  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) Grade A,B or C
  • Baccalaureate grade 1 or 2 in English (minimum: basic course continuously until Baccalaureate).
Required documents for the application

In accordance with London Metropolitan University and Hamburg School of Shipping and Tourism regulations, the documents listed below are required along with the completed application.

  • Certified copy of the high school diploma or the diploma of the university of applied sciences
  • Certified copy of the Chamber of Commerce examination certificate
  • Certified copy of the vocational school certificate
  • Proof of professional activity and years of professional experience by the employer (only if professional experience is available)
  • Certified copy of proof of English language skills - if not possible by school certificates (see above)
  • Digital Photo
  • Completed application form and questionnaire (pages 1 and 2)
Tuition

Tuition fees Bachelor (13 months) 9.985,- Euro

Additional costs arise:
  • when taking an English test that may be required
  • if the study program is extended to two years (one-time 600,- Euro)

Terms of payment
1st payment depending on the start of the study on 01 January or 01 June of the respective year: 2,000 Euro.

2nd payment depending on the start of the study on 01 February or 01 July of the respective year: 2,585 Euro.

12 monthly installments starting from 01 March or 01 August of the respective year, depending on the start of the study program, in the amount of: 450 Euro each.
VAT is not charged as the HSST is an non-profit educational institution.
